Ed Sheehan was in New York some time ago to take the stand in court because he’s being sued for one hundred million dollars, and he said if he loses this case he’s done with music. So what exactly happened? Well everyone knows the song “Let’s get it on” by Marvin Gaye. 

Now a lot of people also know Ed Sheeran’s “thinking out loud” . Well back in 2017 Ed Townsend’s heirs sued Ed for one hundred mil accusing him of ripping off Marvin Gaye. They got this from when eight years ago ed Sheehan had a performance and mashed it up with Marvin’s Let’s get it on. I fear a case like this even if it hasn’t been won scares aspiring artists from picking up an instrument.
