Julio Urías is a starting pitcher for the Dodgers who throughout his career has has some major accomplishments. In 2020 he threw the final pitch of the 2020 World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays securing the win. In 2021 he was the league leader in wins with a 20-3 record. He also was a CY Candidate in 2022 and 21.
Julio Urías has also had a rough patch in 2019 when he was suspended for domestic battery for pushing his at the time girlfriend. Now Julio Urías was arrested for alleged domestic violence on Monday September 5th. Earning him another 20 game suspension and an ongoing investigation by the MLB and proper authorities.
With this being his 2nd arrest while on the team it most likely will be his last days on the Dodgers if not the entire MLB. A similar situation occurred with former Dodger pitcher Trevor Bauer who now plays for the Yokohama DeNA Baystars in China. He was accused of sexual assault and was suspended for 324 games but later was found not guilty. He is still yet to be signed to an MLB team and most likely won’t be ever again.
