Foo Fighters is a band that formed in Seattle including an old nirvana member Dave Grohl drummer, but he’s the main vocalist. Taylor Hawkins drummer, Franz Stahl guitarist, Josh Freese drummer, and Chris Shiflett guitarist. The main reason I like Foo Fighters is because my grandma and mom introduced me to their music as a kid.
My favorite songs from Foo fighters are Doll, My hero and ever long. I do enjoy other albums of them like the color and the shape, one by one and in your honor. I feel like this band means a lot to me due to history, knowing my grandma loves this band shows a connection between how I also feel about it. It feels special to my mom and I whenever we hear one of their songs it reminds us of my grandma.
A really special moment to me was on my birthday last year. My grandma had gotten a job on my birthday, for a while she was struggling. The song ever long was playing too when we had found out she had gotten a new job. I really have enjoyed this band ever since I was a kid.
