Michael Jordan, often just called “MJ,” is a super famous basketball player. He was born in New York in 1963 and went to the University of North Carolina before joining the NBA. MJ played most of his career with the Chicago Bulls and won a bunch of championships, which is like winning the big trophy in basketball.
People love MJ not just because he was really good at basketball but also because he had an amazing work ethic and never gave up, even when things got tough. He’s also famous for his cool shoes called Air Jordans, and lots of kids wear them today.
After retiring from playing, MJ became the boss of the Charlotte Hornets, another NBA team. He’s also a bigt ime which means he donates a lot of money to help others, especially in education.
MJ’s not just a basketball legend he’s a role model for kids all over the world who dream of being as successful and hardworking as he is.
