Saw this movie on the Friday that it came out, which was Sept. 29th. Since my family and I have the movie pass, that gives us the freedom to see movies at any time that we want to. With that being said, we decided to go and see Saw X. I have to say, this movie definitely is on my top 10s.
Ever since a young age, I’ve always loved horror movies… with the Saw series being one of my favorite horror movies series. I love the series as a whole, the master and thriller that the show has. The movie can leave you with thoughts of, “What’s going to happen next?” “Who’s gonna be put to Jigsaw’s next trap victim?” “What’s this story’s twist gonna be?” “Are they going to make it out alive?”
Despite this being a little bit different than the others, it’s still absolutely phenomenal. The storyline, character traits, and events that happen throughout the movie is what makes it great. Sure, the gore makes it more interesting, but the series wouldn’t be what it is without the shock factor or storyline. These characteristics of the movie is what really makes the movie magical. They even brought back the actress who played Amanda in the first few movies, Shawnee Smith. And of course they couldn’t miss the opportunity of starring Tobin Bell as John Kramer, especially since he’s the original John Kramer. Having them as characters really filled the movie with nostalgia, especially seeing their age difference from the first movie to now. `
