Every year, on Halloween, kids look forward to getting dressed up as something spooky and getting all the candy they possibly can. Ever wonder which candies they want the most? Well according to CBS News, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut M&M’s, and regular M&M’s are the 3 most wanted treats of the trick or treat season.
The next choices for candies are all great as well, Tootsie Pops, Twizzlers, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Sour Patch Kids, Candy Corn, KitKats, and Starburst. There is a chart which shows what candies are the most popular in each state. Most of the Northwest favors Peanut M&M’s. The Southwest took over Red Vines, while the Southeast has chosen Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Lastly, the Northeast has a majority of Twizzlers being the top choice.
