311 is an American band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band took place and formed in 1988. Nick Hexum as a vocalist and guitarist, the lead guitarist as Tim Mahoney. Bassist as Aaron Wills, drummer as Chad Sexton. Later on in 1992, Doug Martinez joined as the second vocalist and turntablist. 311 has released two live albums, and four compilation albums. As long as 13 studio albums too.
311 signed to Capricorn Records in the year 1992. Sooner on after they released, Music (1993) and Grassroots (1994). Later on, they received greater success with their self-titled album in 1995. It made number 12 on the Billboard 200. The band’s name was chosen by Wills from a police code.
