The 49ers had a must needed win for morale this past Sunday in a blowout versus the 6-2 Jaguars. Steve Wills defensive coordinator had been in the booth off the field for the entire season but this week he felt he needed a change so he was on the field with the team this weekend and it proved to have payed off. The new signing Chase Young to be a duo with former college teammate Nick Bosa proved to instantly improve the D-Line. The 49ers defense had 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions and only allowed 3 points against a highly rated offense. The offense also played amazing with Brock Purdy nearly throwing for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kittle, Ayuik, and Samuel all had touchdowns but unfortunately the touchdown streak is over and at the end of the game CMC was stuffed 4 times to end it. The 49ers win the game to improve their record to 6-3 tied for first within their division.
