Initial D is a show that takes place in Japan and is based on a true story on the main characters life. The main character Takumi was a boy that had the job as a tofu delivery boy has turned him into one of the most formidable drivers around. His dad is the man that made him be drifting-racing legend. Takumi the Japanese delivery driver who serves up Tofu in the day, and races across mountain passes by night, is said to be loosely based on Keiichi Tsuchiya’s life.
