I just got a new puppy last night out of the blue. She is a blue nosed Pitbull, and she is about 2 months old. But I forgot how much responsibility a puppy really is. I have two cats and I had dogs in the past but, when we had dogs, we often had more adults at home taking care of them as puppies. This time we as in my mom, her boyfriend, and me all have to take care of her.
It’s a lot of more responsibility than taking care of cats. You have to potty train them. Make sure they don’t bite at your shoes or clothes. You also have to pick up after the puppy, and make sure it doesn’t fall or get hurt. Basically, you have to protect your puppy until it knows the ground rules. It’s a lot of work but eventually it is worth it because you have more opportunities to go out with a dog.
