Liverleaf is a 2018 movie directed by Eisuke Naito. It’s a horror, action, and thriller film about revenge. It was based off a manga called Misu Misou by Rensuke Oshikiri.
The story revolves around a girl named Haruki Nozaki who’s looking to graduate middle school in a small town. Nozaki is relentlessly bullied by her class. One day she finds her home burn to the ground and both her parents dead, her little sister in critical condition.
After finding out the fire was set deliberately, she snaps and sets out for revenge on the people who did it. Liveleaf is a gory revenge flick, it’s a very dark movie with a bittersweet end.
