Life as a student can really take a toll on one’s mental health. Endless amounts of homework, tests, and deadlines. We are in a constant state of stress. The grades we get early in life will define our future. If you decide to do a sport, which is encouraged, this stress will feel even worse. Instead of just stressing about homework you also begin to stress about not having time to complete it. Many student athletes hit a wall in the second semester when the workload becomes heavier and the expectations in their sport grow. They no longer have motivation and their grades begin to reflect that.
