I have dealt with procrastination a lot. It’s one of my worse habits, I always seem to put tasks I have to do behind me. Although, recently I have been doing better with my procrastination. School has been hard for me, not because I don’t understand the work but because of my big move. When I first got here I didn’t get my Chromebook until about a month in I also was enrolled late. Seeing my grades already being bad when I didn’t get the chance to try made me extremely unmotivated. I started to procrastinate constantly. But now I have been focusing on my mental health and decided to put a change to things.
Once the second semester started and my grades were at a fresh start I was able to have motivation to do good. I was able to start things and complete them. I started taking care of myself physically and mentally. I decided to minimize my distractions in order for me to be able to focus. What worked for me the most was dealing what I was going through mentally first.
