October 14, 2019
Today is the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Week. This year there will be an estimated 330,000 women in the U.S. that will be diagnosed with breast cancer. ASB will be distributing donation boxes to participating staff members around campus so everyone can donate towards breast cancer research. The donations will be going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The mission of this foundation is to end breast cancer forever. Wednesday, October 16th ASB encourages all staff & students to join together in a “Pink Out” Spirit Day. Dress in pink and show your support for those who have been affected by this disease.
· Are you interested in taking the ASVAB this Fall? Please sign-up in the Career Center with Mr. Solis. Space is limited.
· Beware the killer Clown (Bubbles) who travels with his carnival to unsuspecting towns, like ours. He waits for you at Righetti High School, down in Drama Rm 403… Saturday & Sunday, THIS weekend and NEXT. If you missed Righetti’s Haunted House last year, just $5 gets you a guided tour through our frightening world. Brace yourself for the tale we tell, step into the carnival, go behind the scenes, and try to look away as you feel the frights and see the carnage. We dare you!
· Drama enthusiasts, come join the fun at our Drama Club meeting today at lunch in room 101
· Congrats to the 12 Righetti students cast in our district production of West Side Story. Remember, if you need a ride to PV, to meet Carlson at room 403 by 3pm today.
