Radiohead is an English rock band that was formed in, Abingdon, Oxfordshire in 1985. They have band members, brothers Jonny Greenwood and Colin Greenwood. Thom Yorke, Ed ‘Obrien, and Phillip Selway. They released their debut album in 1991, called “Pablo Honey.” Their song “Creep” is a hit, its everywhere now. There third album called “OK Computer” is claimed to be one of their best albums.
There fourth album had a dramatic change “Kid A”, it had different types of genres that we hadn’t seen from Radiohead before. By 2011 they had sold over 30 million albums around the world. I feel as if their music is expressible in a way to people and can be used for anything. Their music has been described in many different ways.
Their music style has been considered as alternative rock, art rock, art pop, electronic rock, and etc. Jonny Greenwood had also said that they didn’t want to be repetitive. They wanted to experiment as much as possible with music. Radiohead had also been influenced by various artists. Like, Queen, The Smiths, and Pink Floyd.
