Have you ever been so intrigued by a book before? It caught your attention so well that you become wrapped up in the idea and storyline that the book presents to you. Well ever since I was a kid, I read… like a lot. All I ever did was read. I read books that were from my current reading level at that time, and ones that were beyond my reading level. I’ve always been able to understand words that may have been difficult for others to understand, just something that I’ve always naturally have. That’s why reading and wriritng has become second nature to me. But this week? I would like to talk about one of my favorite authors, Stephen King. I’ve been reading his books for quite a while, ever since I started Middle School. I believe my first book that I read by him was The Outsider. It was one of my favorite books, still is to this day. And ever since that point? I’ve always had Stephen King as one of my forst choices.
The different kinds of Stephen King books that I’ve read are The Outsider, Doctor Sleep, Christine, and a few of his short stories. Over the weekend, I just bought more of his books from Gavin’s books, a local bookstore in Santa Maria. I bought Salems’ Lot and Rose Madder by him. I read the synopses of both books, finding them to be intirguing to me. I haven’t had a good read by him in a long time, so it definently felt right.
