Since I’m 17 I decided to get a job and I’ve been working since January. It’s not something new to me I’ve been working since I turned 16. I’ve always felt the need to work and many times it was because I needed an escape from home. Although I also enjoy the money that comes with it. Many highschoolers have jobs especially since most of us are saving for a car. Sometimes I have issues not spending my entire paycheck at once. I’ve realized it’s something I need to work on.
I applied to Wingstop late December and got the job in January. I enjoy working there even though it gets very busy. My coworkers make working enjoyable. Many of them are now my friends. My work schedule is different every week sometimes I work 6 days a week and sometimes ill only work 3. I currently get paid $16 an hour which is very high considering my home states minimum wage. In April minimum wage is going up and I’ll be making the most I’ve
ever made so far.
