On Friday, March 22, the junior varsity softball team played a game against San Louis Obispo. The game started out even. The Warriors began to lead the game by 3 runs. SLO had their at bats and were not able to score any points during the first inning.
By the third or fourth inning, Righetti was up 12-0. They were doing a great job on defense and keeping the other team from scoring. None of the players from SLO were able to even stay on base. They all got out and did not score until the last inning.
In the final inning of the game, the score was 25-0. The Warriors were on the field and SLO was up to bat for one last time. Three girls got on base, and those same three girls scored runs. The umpire called it game 2 hours after it started. The final score was 25-3 and the win went to the Righetti Warriors.
