My dad has been in the military since 1997. We have moved to 3 different places since I was born; Alabama, Colorado, and California. I was born in Nebraska. We lived in each place for about 4 years and when our time is up here, my dad plans to retire. The military does have a lot of benefits but the outcome of specific relationships in he soldiers life can sometimes be negative. However, I will be going to college for free so that is a bonus. If you are thinking about going into the military please consider all of the effects it will have on your future life.
