The MLB only buys jerseys from one spot and to reduce costs on them yearly they change everything about the jersey. Changing the lettering the logos and the overall quality of the jersey. Player hate them saying they don’t look normal and feel weird. They also tend to show tons of sweat through the jersey which is not normal for older jerseys. Due to tons of players complaining and the MLB realizing they messed up they plan to fix the jerseys by the 2025 season so unfortunately we have them until next season.
