This past weekend, history was made between Jett and Hunter Lawrence. They accomplished the first 1-2 finish in the 50 year history of the sport.
The brothers said that racing that close to each other felt like they were “at home as kids again”. Both riders had great starts and were able to maintain a good pace throughout the race.
Lawrence brothers have brought so many wins and achievements to the Honda HRC Racing team and they will strive to keep that up. The team manager, Lars Lindstrom said, ” With them, they’re really a team and part of the team. Darren Lawrence is part of the team, a lot more involved than most fathers are. But it works, sometimes it doesn’t but in this case it really does. For them being able to ride a similar setting and test and get the bike better, we’ve just created this environment that really works for us.”
The entire HRC team really fits well together and they are at the top of the sport at this time.
