Stonefishes are fishes that are extremely skilled at camouflage and blend in with the coral reef’s sea bed. Stonefishes are regarded as one of the most venomous fishes in the world. Since they are good at camouflage swimmers can find themselves stepping on their venomous spines. Its venom can inflict death in an adult in less than an hour. The venom can cause temporary paralysis, shock, swelling, and extreme pain.
Blue-Ringed Octopus
These octopus reside in tide pools and coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian ocean. The venom of this small animal has the power to kill 26 people in a matter of minutes. The reason why this is so dangerous is because thie rbites are not very painful so many don’t even realise they have been bit. The symptoms of their bite includes cardiac and respiratory arrest, and paralysis.
Lionfish
Lionfish live along the East Coat, Caribbean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic. Lionfish have a huge appetite and will eat just about anything. They have venomous spikes on their 18 fins. Their stings cause convulsions, sweating, nausea, and difficulty breathing.
