Two of the most well known rap artists, The Weekend and Playboi Carti, recently put out a new song which was created between the two. It was not a full album, only a single titled, Timeless. Released on September 27th, 2024 the hit single is already first on Apple Music’s “Todays Hits”. Both artists alone can generate billions of streams on their songs, so its no shock that Timeless did so well on the charts. This wasn’t the first time the two artists have collaborated. Popular, released in 2021, was also a collaboration between Madonna, The Weekend, and Carti. Fans of the two artists seem to be happy with the song and are continuing to show support. I have personally listened to this song and I can say it earned a spot on my playlist.
