Is Junior year of high school hard, is what most sophomores in high school ask. The answer is YES! This is totally my opinion coming from a senior in high school. I have older cousins and one older brother that have graduated from high school. When I was a sophomore I always asked myself, what would Junior year be like?. August 2023 I start my junior year of high school. The first day is obviously pretty easy because you get to see your teachers and classmates. What you do typically the first day of school is introduce yourself to the people around you and 3 facts about yourself. The week after you start to get homework from mostly all your classes. At first it seems pretty easy because the teachers spend a good amount of time in one lesson. One month into your junior year u might have multiple homework’s from a specific class. Also the first month you can be busy because football nights begin, English classes start to talk about what your next step after high school, ect. Sooner than later you have a presentation due and it’s a big part of your grade so you have to do your best if not then your grade can drop. You now start 2nd semester which is more hard than 1st semester. Your assignments start to accumulate and you don’t know what to do at that point but to keep pushing because you are almost done. Around months April-June it settles down and teachers don’t assign as much homework as they used to. One tip I give to the upcoming Junior’s is that ask lots of questions when you are having a hard time. Teacher are more than happy to help you when you are struggling. Trust me senior year gets better!
