Cosmetology is the term used to describe the practice and study of treatments and techniques to enhance one’s physical appearance and features. It is a trade, which means it is a life skill based job. Having a life skill as a job is actually very beneficial on the individual’s end because that means a guaranteed job for life and guaranteed knowledge on that field which can honestly take you anywhere.
Cosmetology bases its studies on makeup, nails, hair, skincare, marketing, and sterilization. Learning all of these different fields can be extra beneficial especially if you would like to take on two or more of these professions. Learning cosmetology can be a side hustle for one person or a full time career for another. This is a good path to go down if you enjoy beauty, if you enjoy being around different clients, and if you enjoy being in a social environment.
