Thanksgiving is right around the corner and today I will give you the top 5 best side dishes family should cook this Thanksgiving. I will start off with one of people might say is a main dish and even better than turkey and that is Ham. Ham can be a main or side dish in thanksgiving dinner’s. Ham can be a substitute for turkey and it takes less time to cook than a turkey. Depending on the size of the Ham it takes around 2-4 hrs to cook completely at 350F. Second best side dish for thanksgiving dinner is mash potatoes. Mash potatoes is one of my all time favorite dishes to have for thanksgiving. Something you can add with mash potatoes is gravy. Some people don’t really like gravy with their mash potatoes but I say that it makes it taste better so they don’t taste dry. I like my mash potatoes to have a sweet with salty flavor and add some pepper. Third side dish goes with the mash potatoes lot’s of people say and that is Hawaiian rolls. Hawaiian rolls are one of the best breads to be eaten with mash potatoes on thanksgiving. I like my Hawaiian rolls to be crispy and not be eaten straight out the packaging. What my family does is take the Hawaiian rolls from the packaging and place the rolls in a pan and put them in the oven for about 5 minutes at about 325F. Fourth side dish is Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese is one of the most popular dishes for thanksgiving dinners. My aunt always makes Mac and cheese for thanksgiving and it is so good. I have seen a new recipe for Mac and cheese on Tik Tok and it looks so good so this year I plan to try that recipe for thanksgiving dinner. Last but not least also one of my favorite side dishes is Pumpkin Pie. Pumpkin Pie tastes so good when done with the main thanksgiving dishes. After eating all that food you need a sweet treat after and Pumpkin Pie is all you need. The Pumpkin Pie from Costco is one of the best Pumpkin Pies I have ever tried and we get it for thanksgiving every year.
