Pursuing the cosmetology career

At the moment I’m in the process of pursuing my cosmetology career. Iv’e had this dream since I was about 10 years old. I have always liked to paint my nails, do different hair styles on myself and other people and much more. I have always been a girly girl growing up and even up to this very day. I started liking the cosmetology career because I would always loved doing my moms, aunts, and grandmas hair growing up. I started to get my nails done at the nail salon since I was 14 years old and have had acrylic nails since then. After high school I plan on doing my 9 months of cosmetology which is to complete 1800 hours of cosmetology school here in Santa Maria. In cosmetology I will learn to do stuff like nails, hair, facials, and much more. I plan to also get along with my partners so that we help each other when we need help. Once I finish and get my cosmetology license I plan to work for a salon with anything to do with hair while I save money to open up my business and have my own salon. I plan on having a salon so that women feel safe, great about themselves and be a better version of themselves. Another reason I chose to pursue the cosmetology career is because it’s a good and short career that can make you successful in the future because hair cutting will always be a business that will never have a fall out. I am glad I get to dream to have my own hair salon business one day.
