This Saturday, March 8th, there’s a sophomore and freshman invitation at Arroyo Grande Highschool, for a swim meet. These past couple years Righetti was never invited, but this year that has changed. This meet will be a “practice meet”. The swimmers score can count for CIF if they qualify.
This swim meet isn’t like any others. The events will be shorter and not as many. Since this is only a “practice” meet, only freshman and sophomores are invited to get a feel on how a real meet works. If you’re on one of the RHS swim teams, come to school around 6:30 a.m. to catch a ride on the bus to AGHS. Warmups start around 7 a.m., and the actual meet starts around 8 a.m. and ends around 1 p.m. Bring friends and family to support you/swimmers!
