Have you ever heard of Saint Patrick’s Day ? Not a lot of people celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day but I will give you some information about it. Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated every March 17th of every year. March 17th is to honor St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It’s a day to celebrate Irish culture and heritage. It began as a religious holiday, where people would attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. When Irish immigrants brought the holiday to the U.S, it became a secular celebration of Irish culture. In Ireland the way its celebrated is by wearing green, eating Irish foods, and drinking Irish beer. People say that when you wear orange on Saint Patrick’s Day it’s considered disrespectful and represents a different cultural and religious tradition. Here in the U.S you should wear green on Saint Patrick’s Day to avoid getting pinched. It also known to bring good luck if you wear green. So make sure to wear green this Saint Patrick’s Day Monday March 17th 2025 to avoid getting pinched and bring good luck into your life.
