I will talk about what I did this weekend. This weekend I was over in LA celebrating my cousins quince. A Quinceanera is a Mexican version of a Sweet Sixteen. It’s a tradition to celebrate the daughter of the family that is turning 15. You have a big celebration as the girl is turning into a young lady. I decided to get ready early in the morning before having to head up to LA early Saturday morning. I did my makeup and hair at home. We left around 12 from my house. We got to LA at 3 with a little bit of traffic. We got to my cousins house that’s where the party was going to be celebrated. Since we got there early and the party didn’t start until 5 we decided to chill for a bit and do some last minute touches with the decorations. Around 4:30 I helped my cousin put on her dress before the invited got there. Once I helped her put on her dress I decided to get dressed as well. The invited started to get there and we all started eating. She had live music and her closest family members celebrating her on her big day. As us Mexicans we like the parties to start late and finish late. The party didn’t end until 4 in the morning and we were all tired the next morning.
