My thoughts on Grad Nite are pretty high since it’s the last fun event of my senior year, especially because I won’t be attending the senior trip to Hawaii. Anyway, the day was fun! When we arrived at the park grounds, we were greeted by park workers who gave us our park hopper tickets. Then, we went through a checkpoint where they checked our bags. A lot of people had said that security would throw away makeup like lipstick and face powder, but that turned out to be completely false.
Enough with the boring stuff, the overall experience of Grad Nite was unforgettable! It was one of those rare, special days where I got to spend over 10 hours with my friends. I was a little disappointed when they moved us to California Adventure after 9:00 PM because I feel like Disneyland is more magical.
If I ever get another chance to go to Disney, I’d focus more on shopping at places like the LEGO Store, buying Disney ears and pins, those take up the most time and make great memories. I also wouldn’t waste money on a FastPass again, since you can’t use it after 9:00 PM. I spent over $36 on it, and it was such a waste because there were so many students that it didn’t even help. Lastly, I think they should have more staff monitoring the lines, because some kids were pretending to call someone just to skip ahead.
