Homelessness in our streets
Homelessness is a serious issue that affects millions of people around the world. It’s easy to say that everyone should just get a job and buy a house, but the fact of the matter is that there will always be homeless people out there. One big reason for this is that land is a limited resource, there’s only so much of it. Not everyone can own a home because there just isn’t enough space or affordable housing for everyone.
Cities are growing fast, more and more people are being born and housing prices are rising. This makes it harder for people with low incomes to afford rent, let alone buy a home. On top of that, some people face mental health issues, job loss, or bad luck that pushes them into homelessness. Once they’re on the streets, it’s even harder to get back on their feet.
We need to realize on this planet we call earth there are more than 8 billion living people that cannot all be accounted for, especially due to the finite space on this world. Homelessness will most likely continue to be a thing. That doesn’t mean that there will never be a solution, it just means that it hasn’t been found yet and I am intrigued to see how they will attempt to go about this issue.
