A couple years ago the first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty came out. It was about a girl named Belly, but her actual name was Isabella. She went to visit her mom’s best friend and the best friend’s sons at a beach town called Cousins; it’s a yearly tradition. The best friend’s name was Susannah, and the two brothers’ names were Conrad (the older brother) and Jeremiah (the younger brother). Belly and these two brothers have been best friends their entire life. There was something everyone knew though, Belly had always been in love with Conrad. He never showed interest or liked her in that way until… the summer she turned pretty. Throughout the first season Conrad starts to fall for belly, but something nobody knew was that Jeremiah liked her as well, he’s always liked her. When Belly finds out that Jeremiah likes her, she starts to fall for him and they start to become a thing, then Conrad gets in the way and admits he wants belly, they end up kissing and begin to date, while Jeremiah finds out and is heartbroken. After a while of them dating Conrad slowly gets depressed because his mother Susannah is dying from cancer, he ends up not being himself and isn’t there for Belly so they sadly breakup. Jeremiah is sadly suffering from the news of his mother having Cancer as well, but after she sadly passes away Belly is there for him, and they end up falling for each other again and begin to date. About a year later, season two finally comes out, so many crazy things happen during this season, and the season is still coming out with new episodes every Wednesday. Crazy and exiting things that happened so far is Belly’s brother ends up getting into a car crash after confessing his love to Belly’s best friend Taylor. Jeremiah cheats on Belly while he’s on spring break in Cabo, which leads him to begging for Belly back. They end up being good again and then he asks Belly to marry him without getting on a knee and without a ring, her delusional self still says yes. Months later, the night before the wedding, Conrad finds out about Jeremiah cheated and gets very upset with him. Conrad gets so mad he tries to get Belly not to marry him and confesses his love for her. He tells her that she’s the only one that he wants and that she should be with him and not his brother, he tells her he’s been in love with her ever since they first dated, which was four years ago. Belly tells him no and that Jeremiah is the one, for the rest of the night and the next day what Conrad told her was stuck in her brain and she realizes that she’s still in love with him. Jeremiah finds out, punches Conrad in the face and tells him he never wants to speak to him again and tells Belly that they are going to cancel the wedding. After they cancel the wedding, everyone is sad and Belly sneaks away to pack up her stuff. The same very night she drives to the airport and buys a ticket to Paris without telling anyone because she got offered a spot in a school over there. To be continued…
