Overall, who has the highest-grossing movie among the 2? Well, let me start by saying this was not a surprise to me. Marvels “Avengers: Endgame” is the highest grossing movie between Marvel and DC. It has grossed over $2.79 billion worldwide. This data shows that audience wise, Marvel has drawn more viewers to one of its movies than a DC movie. This movie came out 6 years ago in 2019, so I was still 10 years old. Back then it was a huge movie that came out, and I was so excited for it. What about now?
Which universe is more appealing to my generation today? I believe Marvel is more appealing to people my age for many reasons. One of them is because they have an entire “Avengers Campus” at Disneyland that my generation loves. It interacts and makes us want to watch more movies. Even though DC doesn’t have anything like this, many people prefer DC over Marvel because of the characters.
