Have you ever wondered what is the process behind a nail appointment? Come with me to set up for a nail appointment! I am a home based beginner nail tech. First i begin with making my bed and sweeping my room. Once I have swept I mop the area. After doing that I start setting up my nail desk, I have 2 of the 6-block organizers. I put the organizers together and I start by cleaning the top and the organizers where I have my acrylics, charms, after appointment care bags, lotions and sugar scrubs, gloves and face masks, etc. I begin with cleaning my e-file and I sanitize my nail drill bits, my arm rest, UV light lamp, and my mats. I clean my acrylic brushes and my nail design brushes. Once everything is cleaned and sanitized I begin with setting it all up.
I place my pink mat on the desk and the uv light goes on top and the arm rest goes over that. Once that has been placed I get my organizers, and I put my brushes in the white with pink bows cup. Once that has been done I choose the specific brushes and clips I’ll be needing and they get put on my small pink metal tray. I get my acrylic cover colors and my monomer and I put them in the top next to my lamp, so once my client is here I can show her the swatches and we can decide the appropriate colors for the nail set. I get the dehydrator, primer and bond and I put it in the same tray as my tools, and I also get my monomer dipping dish and I put it on the mat and I place a 1/3 folded paper towel so i can be wiping my acrylic brush. Once that is done I get my chairs and I clean them up with 2 wet towels and I wipe them down again with a hot towel. Lastly, I organize snacks for my clients, I have a small bin with snacks and drinks so my clients can snack on during their service. Now that everything is cleaned and organized, we are ready for a client!
