It’s sad to say that the 2025 season of the girls’ varsity volleyball team here at Righetti has come to an end. Our girls fought their hardest this season and ended up being league champions! The girls’ league record was 9 wins with only 1 loss, and their overall record was 11 wins with 17 losses.
They made it to division 4 of CIF playoffs ranked 14. Their first round of CIF was in Shafter, CA on October 28, 2025. The team traveled 2 and half hours to take on Shafter High School who was ranked 2 with an overall record of 31 wins and 1 loss. The first set of the game Righetti lost 22-25 so it was a close battle. The second and third set they lost again 11-25 in both leading them to lose the first round CIF playoffs.
Unfortunately, this means that our girls team got eliminated from CIF. After a long season of sweat, hard work, and tears, the girls fought their very best until the last point. It’s tough to hear but this season is completed.
