For some people missing an assignment is one of the worst things that can happen to them. As well as getting a low score on something even if its worth 5 points. When people miss their assignment they scramble to get it done but cannot find it anywhere in canvas and that’s because its either under the wrong date or wrong name, which means its not necessarily your fault. Sometimes people get distracted during the school year and their grades start to slip beneath them, which makes it more difficult for them too have a good understanding of the work and they start to get more and more busy which makes them more stressed which then makes it harder for them to work.
