The recent storm that had occurred in California had left thousands without power. The storm snapped the power poles and caused the power to go for several hours to over a day making it harder to get around. Many said they were bored and didn’t know what to do over this period of time. This storm was a very powerful storm with wind speeds ranging from 50-70 miles per hour which is the reason why many power lines fell. The storm also contained lightning and thunder which we don’t regularly get in Santa Maria. In total the storm gave us approximately 4 inches of rain which is quite a bit for California. This storm was short but quite strong one
