On May 15th Drake (Aubrey Drake Graham) realeased three new albums; ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOR. The initial realse of Drakes album ICEMAN had been anticipated for a month or so now. So the shock of the two other albums being announced a day or so before was a shock. Yet was subtly teased on Drakes instgram with three seperate posts of the numbers. But, are the albums that good? The simple answer is theyre mid. Considering that ICEMAN is the main album that was promoted and HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOR are sublementry albums, ICEMAN got a review from Pitchfork,Rolling Stone, and GQ. Pitchfork rated ICEMAN a 4.8/10 saying that it was a weak comback attempt. Whille Rolling Stone gave it a 3/5 stars. Yet GQ praised the production and rapping as some of his best in a decade which is highly arguable with albums like Views and Nothing Was the Same exist. Personally the albums were okay, nothing stood out, and every song seemed like it wanted to be it’s own trend. Take with that what you will and if you didn’t listen to it go take a minute to hear out what Aubrey Drake Graham has to say since he does do some disses throughout his album.
