What You Will Need: (Serves about 9)

  • 8 cups of soft bread cubes, unseasoned
  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • ½ cup of fresh parsley, diced
  • ¼ cup of melted butter
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of pepper

Directions: (takes about 55 minutes)

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix onion, celery, parsley, melted butter, egg and poultry seasoning into a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  3. Add bread crumbs and stir with a spoon to evenly spread the mixture.
  4. Slowly drizzle milk over bread while stirring to moisten bread cubes. (careful not to saturate the bread cubes)
  5. Stir in salt and pepper.
  6. Pour contents into a greased casserole dish.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until bread cubes are crispy on top.
