Homemade Cranberry Sauce

For the final recipe of the month, we’re finishing off with the side we all know and love; Cranberry Sauce.
What You Will Need:
- 4 cups of cranberries (rinsed)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 6 tablespoons of water
- 6 tablespoons of orange juice
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
- 2 inches of ginger (peeled and sliced into 3 pieces)
- Orange zest (orange peel essence)
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Directions:
- Mix together cranberries, sugar, water, orange juice, salt, orange zest and ginger pieces into a large pot
- Bring to boil and cook for about 10 minutes, or until all berries have fully burst
- Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 30 minutes
- Remove ginger pieces and add cinnamon
- Blend the mixture thoroughly and refrigerate until ready for use
