Dodgers vs. Padres Postseason Series
October 7, 2020
For the first time in MLB history, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres are playing each other in a postseason series. Although both teams have made playoffs at the same time in previous years, they have never once played each other. With the virus, the postseason play is much different than normal, along with the way baseball was played on its own. These two teams will be playing in the new stadium in Arlington, Texas, which is the new home of the Texas Rangers, and neither the Dodgers nor the Padres will get to play in California for the rest of the postseason. As many people know, the Dodgers have extensive playoff experience, on the other hand the Padres don’t have a lot of playoff experience. The two teams will be facing off in the National League Division Series (NLDS) the winner will move onto the championship series and potentially move on to the World Series.
