Lions Rams Quarterback Switch
February 10, 2021
With all the commotion about the super bowl and Tom Brady getting his 7th ring, people have brushed away of the fact that the Los Angeles Rams just got arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Matthew Stafford, the 12 year vet, recently got traded from the Detroit Lions to the Rams, with this trade, the Lions would get multiple first round picks and the Rams quarterback, Jared Goff. Goff is coming off an injury and hadn’t been playing well to begin with, Stafford on the other hand is coming from a horrific team and starting with a good one who could potentially make a playoff run in the 21-22 season. Stafford leads the league in comeback wins with 31, being he was on the Lions I can see why he holds this title. All in all, for the Rams, they lose their next two years worth of first round picks which makes it now seven years without one, but in return get a outstanding QB to hopefully help the team and lead them to a playoff spot.
