As the month of October rolls around the corner, students are anticipating the return of Righetti’s annual Homecoming dance. Due to distance learning, Righetti students were not able to have a Homecoming last year, but this year things have changed.

This year’s homecoming theme is “A Night in Vegas” and will be held on October 9th, 2021. Unlike previous homecomings and due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year’s homecoming will be held outdoors in the quad above the Greek Theater. The event will be held from 8 to 10 pm, and from 9/22 to 9/24, tickets will be on sale for $15. Starting on the 25th, ticket prices will be increased to $20 from 9/25 to 10/7 per student. Students are recommended to buy their tickets as soon as possible.

You can buy your homecoming ticket at the Business Office window, which is open from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Guest passes will also be available in the Business Office if you plan on bringing a guest from another school. Masks will be required only while dancing.

Leading up to the homecoming dance, we will be having a spirit week from October 4th through the 8th. The Homecoming game will be held on October 8th, at which the homecoming King and Queen nominees will be crowned.

To enter the dance, you must have your ticket and student ID present on you. Everything about this year’s Homecoming dance will be normal, except that it’s being held outdoors and students are required to wear masks. This is a school approved event, so don’t worry parents!

The event is sponsored by the Boys Wrestling & Basketball programs. If you have any further questions or concerns, you can contact Righetti staff Andrew Domingues or Justin Bronson.

UPDATE: Homecoming tickets have already sold out on Friday (9/24) and will be restocked on Monday, September 27th.
