Pico Creek

Pico Creek is located in San Simian Big Sur area. It is a pretty consistent reef/point break that’s on pretty much all year long. The best swell is a southwest swell combined with northeast offshore wind. This swell usually is best during winter more specifically February. One of the breaks is a consistent right peeler that breaks off the reef. It breaks best on a mid tide that is rising. This spot is rarely crowded even if the waves are super good. I took a trip here during thanksgiving break and caught a pretty decent swell. The waves were about 4-6 feet and some were barreling. There was me and one other guy out and it was perfect. I was lucky and scored two backside barrels that day. This is definitely one of my favorite spots.
