The Swiss, established in 1914, is your classic American steakhouse. With an old-fashioned, comfortable atmosphere and a classic look, there is something for everyone at The Swiss. The Swiss features their House Specialty Prime Rib and other delicious dishes directly off the grill. They also have a wide selection of pasta dishes. For lunch, sandwiches are the way to go. Some personal favorite dishes of mine are the ½ lb Cheeseburger and the Oak Grilled Half-Pound Tri-Tip Sandwich. The employees are helpful and quick to provide their exceptional service. The meal pricing is reasonable and the food portions are worth every penny. I always end up taking food home for the next day, which is always an extra bonus! The Swiss is a great place for birthday dinners and other events. They provide catering and take-out services as well. Another great part about The Swiss is their bar. Even though, as high school students, we cannot go to the bar and order alcoholic beverages, it is a great option for our friends and relatives of a drinking age.

My personal experiences at The Swiss have always been positive. My family has visited there on multiple occasions, including my father’s birthday dinner. The staff has been very friendly and the wait for food is not unreasonable. If you are planning to celebrate an occasion by going out to a restaurant, I highly recommend visiting The Swiss.
