As she figures out the true circumstances of her accident, she will discover the truth about herself and her family.
This has to be one of my favorite books of all time. For a few years I stopped reading and just could not get back into it. I really wanted to love reading again so I bought a few books, We Were Liars included, and decided to just try and read them all. From the moment I picked up the book I was hooked. It took me less then two days to read the whole thing; I just could not put it down. I love a good mystery book and E. Lockhart really nailed this one. There are a lot of books with ridiculous plot twist that would just never happen, this not one of them. You can see throughout the entire book how much thought was really put into the overall plot. The characters and settings are described with amazing detail that makes you feel like you are apart f the story. I personally was not expecting the ending and would have never guessed it, but I have read reviews of other people who said they knew what was coming. We Were Liars is a heart-breaking book, I cried when I finished, but if I could read it over again for the first time I would do it in a heartbeat. Overall I would rate this book a 10/10.
