2022 is going to be a big year for the movie industry. Some major movies that have already been released this year are Uncharted starring Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. As well as Marry Me starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Sarah Silverman, John Bradley, and Maluma. There are tons of  movies that are expected to be great rolling out all year. Here are a few of them… 

1. The Batman

Opening on: March 4, 2022

When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Catwoman and the Penguin. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

2.Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Opening on: May 6, 2022

In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU has unlocked the Multiverse. This movie will follow the journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new foe.

  3.Minions: The Rise of Gru

Opening on: July 1, 2022 

Minions: The Rise of Gru is the untold story of one twelve-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain.In the heart of the 1970s, amidst a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them.

4.Thor: Love and Thunder

Opening on: July 8, 2022

The God of Thunder is coming back for another Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure, with Thor: Love and Thunder. This tie around Thor will be facing his most personal challenges yet, lost love. Thor is also set to square off against a villain with powers equal to his own in the sequel. All in all, it’s shaping up to be a Phase Four Marvel outing worthy of the powerful Asgardian.

5.Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Opening on: November 11, 2022

After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman, many wondered how the franchise could continuer if it would even continue at all. The director and writer Ryan Coogler reshaped the script to honor the beloved hero and give a hopeful future to Wakanda. They have yet to release mush information about the plot of the movie, all they have reelected is that, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will continue to explore the incomparable world of Wakanda and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film.”

6.Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Opening on: December 16, 2022

This is another movie where not much information has been revealed  just yet. What we do know is it will be another Action Adventure just like Aquaman 1. This time, when an ancient power is unleashed, Aquaman must forge an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally to protect Atlantis, and the world, from irreversible devastation.

7.Avatar 2

Opening on: December 16, 2022

In Avatar 2, Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the planet of Pandora, and they are doing everything they can to try and to stay together. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na’vi race to protect their planet.
