For those who don’t know sloths hold the Guinness world record for slowest mammal. They are so slow that they grow moss on their So, I have put together some facts about sloths that are interesting (to me at least).

Sloths can have two toes on their front feet and three toes on their back feet or three toes on their front feet and three toes on their back feet. Two-toed sloths live in in Central America and three-toed sloths live in both Central and South America. Two-Toed Sloth is the right and Three-Toed Sloth is the left.

Sloths are the most accidental suicidal animal in the animal kingdom. Sloths can appear gray or brown. The brown ones with sometimes confuse their arms for branches and grab a hold while letting go of the branch the other arm is holding on to.

Sloths are faster swimmers than they are climbers. Sloths can swim as much as 3 times  as fast as they can climb. This is interesting because there homeland is in tropical rainforests and flood up to 80 inches a year. Sloth Swimming Link
