Mechanical failure on plane caused forced landing in Santa Maria, California!

Around 5:14 on Saturday, Oct 29th, 2022, a mechanical failure on a small plane caused a forced landing on 2600 East Clark Avenue, taking down a powerline as it came crashing down. No one on the ground was injured and the pilot is safe and uninjured Aswell.

The pilot, on his way from Van Nuys to San Louis Obispo, had reported engine troubles and attempted to land in the Santa Maria airport. He could not make it to the airport but fortunately, he managed to come to a full stop on East Clark Avenue while not disrupting any traffic.
